With Release 1910 the initial synchronization of contacts from Outlook was implemented, which works by assigning a category in Outlook. Since the assignment of categories does not work on mobile devices or in Outlook Web Access (OWA), we have now, with Release 2002, introduced the option to mark the contacts in Outlook for synchronization using a prefix.
The prefix can be configured in the admin cockpit – and when creating contacts in Outlook, it can be placed before either the first or last name. As soon as the contact is then saved, it will be synchronized – and with the automatic resynchronization the prefix will be removed automatically in Outlook.
